VILMORIN SA acquired Shamrock Seed Company in October 2013, this new subsidiary has since become VILMORIN NORTH AMERICA.

Since July 1st 2016, Vilmorin-MKS is a new Business Unit of Limagrain, it brings together the activities of Vilmorin (French seed company) and Mikado Kyowa Seed (Japanese seed company).
